I am Ernie. I am a native of Shepherdstown, West Virginia by way of Washington DC (Southeast to be exact). Today, I live in Harlem, New York with my wife and two daughters.

I founded a private investment firm about four years ago. We collectively partner with over 500 employees across two platform companies to provide mission critical services and technology. It has been a fantastic journey.

Prior to that, to I spent a decade providing strategic and financial advise to Fortune 500 companies and large private equity firms at a large global investment bank. The network I built and the training I received was priceless.

Alongside my business life, I do all I can for my family and my community. My work is primarily designed to provide social impact to underserved communities, particularly those of color.

I am the first to say that I am nothing special. However, I do believe my background relative to my current set of experiences offers unique insights where others may not be exposed.

Because of this, I hope my perspective on the topics I plan to address (business, community building, faith, family, investing, leadership, politics and technology) will offer fresh perspective and serve, somewhat, as a bridge in a world where information and opinions are ubiquitous but no one really understands neither of the two.
